About Enshrouded
Enshrouded is a co-op survival action RPG from Keen Games, for up to 16 players. You play as the Flameborn, the last ember of hope of a dying race, in the fallen kingdom of Embervale, which is swallowed by a corrupting fog called the Shroud.
Players explore a large open world, fight bosses, craft gear, build bases from the voxel terrain and level up skill trees as warriors, rangers or mages. The game entered Early Access on Steam on 24 January 2024, and the full 1.0 release followed on 15 October 2026.
Version 1.0 adds Sparkworks, a logic system that links levers and pressure plates to doors and traps, and a mage rework with nine new spells, including summoned totems and skeletons. It also brings performance work aimed at lower and mid-range PCs and a reworked start to the game. Early Access saves carry over, and players who own the game on PC don't need to buy it again.
Enshrouded isn't cross-platform at 1.0. Keen Games says it is working on cross-platform play but has no date yet, so plan on your group playing together on PC.

How to Join Your Enshrouded Server
Your server's name and Query Info (IP address and port) are in the Gamepanel as soon as it's online.
By server name
- In Enshrouded, click Play, then Join.
- Open the Dedicated Server tab.
- Type your server's name exactly into Filter Server Names.
- Click your server, then Join, and enter the password if you've set one.

By IP address and port
- Copy your server's Query Info from the Gamepanel, for example 208.115.206.98:15637.
- In Enshrouded, click Play, then Join.
- Click Search by IPv4 / Domain and paste in the Query Info.
- Click Search, then Join.
The password you join with decides your permissions. See passwords and admin permissions.

Does my server run Enshrouded 1.0?▾
Yes. Keen Games released the 1.0 server update on 15 October 2026. New servers install it, and existing servers get it with one click in the Gamepanel or through the update scheduler. Players and the server need to be on the same version to connect.
Will my Early Access world work in 1.0?▾
Yes. Keen Games has confirmed that Early Access saves work in 1.0 and are converted to a new save format when loaded. Keen also recommends starting a fresh world to see the reworked early game, so keep a backup of your old world either way.
How many players can join an Enshrouded server?▾
Up to 16. Set the exact player slot count in the server settings, up to that maximum.
Can I move my existing Enshrouded world to PingPerfect?▾
Yes. Upload your world save through FTP or the Gamepanel file manager. Your character is saved on your own PC, so only the world needs uploading. Our world upload guide walks you through it, and if you get stuck, open a ticket and our support team will help.
How do I change my Enshrouded server settings?▾
Settings such as the server name, password, slots and difficulty are in the server config file, enshrouded_server.json. Our Gamepanel has a GUI editor for them, so you don't have to edit JSON by hand.

Yes, if you want it to. Set up automatic updates with the scheduler in the Gamepanel, or update manually with one click at any time.
