About Stationeers
Stationeers is a space station building and survival game from RocketWerkz. You build and run a base on a hostile world, alone or with friends, and every system is simulated: atmospheres and gas mixes, power and data networks, manufacturing, farming and gravity.
It has been in Early Access on Steam since 12 December 2017 and is still updated through the year. The Gases Update arrived in March 2026, the Sanitation Update in July added a new sanitation need along with a long list of multiplayer and dedicated server fixes, and the Power Line Update on 12 August 2026 brought power pylons, a cable gun and changes to multiplayer traffic that help on large bases.

How do I choose a Stationeers server host?▾
Check a few things: fast CPUs for the atmospheric simulation on a big base, a location near your crew, an easy way to install Workshop mods, a world that loads again after every restart, and automatic backups. A free trial lets you test the connection before you pay. Our servers have all of these, with 20 locations and a 48-hour free trial.
Why does my server make a new world when it restarts?▾
Stationeers generates a fresh world on start unless it's told which one to load. In the Commandline Manager, select "Load a specific world" and type your world's name (Pingperfect, unless you've changed it). From then on the same world loads after every restart, as in our persistent world guide.
How do I install mods on my Stationeers server?▾
Install the mods with the Steam Workshop button in the Gamepanel, then list them in ModConfig.xml and restart. Our mods guide has a ready-made ModConfig.xml to copy. Players need the same mods to join.
How do I use admin commands?▾
Set a Server Auth Secret in a custom command line, then put the same value in the ServerAuthSecret line of setting.xml in Documents\My Games\Stationeers on your PC. Join, press F3 and type commands with serverrun in front, such as serverrun say Hello. See our admin guide.
How many players can join?▾
Our plans come with 6 or 12 player slots. For a big crew on a large base, choose the plans with NVMe Pro storage and higher CPU priority, or move to Extreme hardware.
Can I upload my single-player world?▾
Yes. Upload the save folder to the server by FTP or the file manager, then set its name in the "Load a specific world" command line. Make sure the server and your game are on the same version.
Is Stationeers still being updated?▾
Yes. It's in Early Access and RocketWerkz released three big updates in 2026: Gases in March, Sanitation in July and Power Line in August, each followed by hotfixes. Update your server from the Gamepanel after each one so it matches your players' version.
How much does a Stationeers server cost?▾
Plans start from $9.80/month for 6 players. For 12 players it's $22.69/month with NVMe Pro storage and Above Normal CPU priority, or $25.76/month with High CPU priority. Every plan is also available on our Extreme hardware, and all of them come with a 48-hour free trial.
