About Soulmask
Soulmask is a tribe survival game from CampFire Studio, published by Qooland Games. You wear an ancient mask that lets you possess any of your tribespeople, recruit followers and build an automated civilisation across a large ancient open world, alone or with friends.
Soulmask launched into Early Access on Steam in 2024 and left Early Access with its 1.0 release in April 2026. The Shifting Sands map, the Egypt DLC, adds a second world to explore.

Is my server updated for Soulmask 1.0?▾
Yes. Soulmask 1.0 came out in April 2026, and our servers run the current version. Update with one click in the Gamepanel, or let the scheduler do it, so the server stays on the same version as your players.
How many players can join a Soulmask server?▾
Our plans come with 10, 20 or 30 player slots, and a Custom server can go up to 50.
Can I play the Shifting Sands map?▾
Yes. Stop the server, select the Shifting Sands (Egypt DLC) command line in the Commandline Manager and start it again. See our Shifting Sands guide.
Can I link servers into a cluster?▾
Yes, with two servers, one for each map. Our cluster guide sets up the main and secondary servers, and a second guide covers moving characters between them.
Can I add Workshop mods?▾
Yes. Paste the mod IDs into your command line in the Gamepanel. Our Workshop mods guide has the steps.
Is Soulmask in the Survival Game Bundle?▾
Yes. The Survival Game Bundle lets you switch between Soulmask and other survival games on one subscription.
