About RuneScape: Dragonwilds
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a co-operative survival game from Jagex, set in the RuneScape world on the continent of Ashenfall. Players gather resources, craft gear, build bases and level up RuneScape-style skills, working up to facing the Dragon Queen.
The game launched in Early Access on PC on 15 April 2025. Dedicated servers arrived with update 0.11 on 31 March 2026, and the full 1.0 release followed on 15 September 2026, adding PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions.
We worked with Jagex ahead of launch, and they gave PingPerfect early access to the dedicated server beta ahead of other providers, so our servers were ready the day dedicated servers went public.
In normal co-op, a world is only available while its host is playing. A dedicated server keeps the world online all the time for up to 6 players, so friends can play on their own schedule without losing progress, whether they play on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S or Switch 2. Jagex's guidance is 2 GB of RAM plus 1 GB per player, so 8 GB for a full server, and our plan comes with 9 GB.

How to Join Your RuneScape: Dragonwilds Server
Before the first start, set your Owner ID in the Gamepanel (see the first-time setup guide). The server won't start without it.
Finding your server
- Launch RuneScape: Dragonwilds and open the Worlds screen.
- Go to the Public tab.
- Search for your exact world name. It's case-sensitive.
- Select it, enter the password if you've set one, and join.
Your world name is the DefaultWorldName in DedicatedServer.ini, or the name of the save you uploaded. See our server finding guide.

Yes. Jagex gave us early access to the dedicated server beta ahead of other providers, so our servers were ready from the day dedicated servers launched.
How many players can join a Dragonwilds server?▾
Up to 6, the most Jagex allows on a dedicated server (since update 0.11, March 2026). Jagex has said they're working on raising it. That's why all our plans are 6 players: they differ in storage speed, CPU priority and hardware instead.
Can console players join a Dragonwilds server?▾
Yes. Players on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 can all join a PingPerfect Dragonwilds server, so your whole group can play together whatever they play on.
How do I join my server?▾
On the Worlds screen, go to the Public tab and search for your exact world name, which is case-sensitive. The steps are in the how to join section above.
Why won't my server start?▾
Dragonwilds servers need the owner's Player ID before they'll start. Copy your Player ID from the bottom of the game's Settings menu and put it in the OwnerId setting, see our first-time setup guide.
Can I move my existing world to the server?▾
Yes. Upload your save files and the server will run your world. See our save upload guide.
Can I use Creative or custom world settings?▾
Yes. Create the world in the game with the settings you want, then upload it to the server, see our custom world guide.
How do I add a password or admins?▾
Set a world password in the server config, see our password guide. Trusted players become admins by entering the admin password on the Server Management page. The owner can kick, ban and unban anyone, see our moderation guide.
