Can I run custom Zombies maps on a Black Ops 3 dedicated server?▾
Yes. Download the map with the Steam Workshop button in the Gamepanel, put its Workshop ID in the Mod field of your command line, then add the map's folder name and the zm game type to playlists.info. Do I need the T7x client to play Zombies?▾
Yes. Zombies on a Black Ops III dedicated server only works with T7x, a free community client from AlterWare. Each player puts t7x.exe in their Black Ops III folder and runs it once to install it; it needs a genuine Steam copy of the game. Follow AlterWare's T7x install guide, and open a ticket if you'd like our team to set the server up for it.
Can I make a private Black Ops 3 server?▾
Yes. It's your own server: you choose the maps, modes and rules, and it stays online whether or not your friends are playing. If you want it password-protected, open a ticket and our support team will help you set it up.
Is it a ranked server?▾
No. Black Ops III dedicated servers are unranked, which is what Treyarch's server tools allow on PC. That's what makes custom maps, mods and your own rules possible.
Can console players join?▾
No. Dedicated servers are for the PC version on Steam, so every player needs Black Ops III on PC. The Xbox and PlayStation versions don't support community servers.
How many players can join?▾
Our Black Ops III plans have no player slot limit. You set the player count in your server settings, up to what the game and your chosen mode allow.
