About HumanitZ
HumanitZ is an isometric, open-world zombie survival sandbox from Yodubzz Studios. After an outbreak ends the world, you scavenge, craft, build and fight to stay alive, alone or with friends.
The game entered Early Access on Steam on 18 September 2023 and left it with the 1.0 release on 6 February 2026, published by indie.io.
A dedicated server keeps your world running for the whole group. Server settings are set in the server's config file, not the in-game server settings menu, so you can tune PvP, permadeath, loot and zombies before anyone joins.

Is my server updated for HumanitZ 1.0?▾
Yes. HumanitZ left Early Access with 1.0 on 6 February 2026, and our servers run the current version. Update with one click in the Gamepanel, or let the scheduler do it, so the server stays on the same version as your players.
How many players can join a HumanitZ server?▾
Our plans come with 4, 12 or 16 player slots, and a Custom server can go up to 24.
How do I change my server settings?▾
Stop the server, open Configuration Files in the Gamepanel and edit GameServerSettings.ini, then start it again. Settings can't be changed from the in-game server settings menu. Our configuration guide explains every setting.
Can I turn on PvP or permadeath?▾
Yes. Both are switches in GameServerSettings.ini, along with what players drop on death, loot rarity and respawn timers, airdrops and weapon breaking.
How do I become an admin?▾
Set an admin password in GameServerSettings.ini, join the server and type /AdminAccess followed by the password in chat. Our admin commands guide lists everything you can do.
How much does a HumanitZ server cost?▾
Plans start from $11.79/month for 4 players with 9 GB RAM. For 12 players it's $36.97/month with 12 GB RAM and NVMe Pro storage, or $41.22/month for 16 players. Every plan is also available on our Extreme hardware, and all of them come with a 48-hour free trial.
