About the Game

About Call of Duty

Updated 29 October 2026

Call of Duty is the game that started the series: Infinity Ward's 2003 World War II shooter, built on id Tech 3, with American, British and Soviet campaigns and a squad-based feel that set it apart from other shooters of its time.

It came out for Windows on 29 October 2003 in North America and is still sold on Steam. Its multiplayer, with Search and Destroy on Carentan and Brecourt, still has players, and the United Offensive expansion followed in 2004.

A rented Call of Duty dedicated server gives your clan or community an always-on home for the original, with your own rules and rotation and a location close to your players.

Any time I have an issue and submit a support ticket, I get an extremely prompt reply and fix to my problem. Easily the happiest I've been with any customer service, and the host itself is incredibly reliable.

Every time I have reached out to Support, even with what I would consider a stupid question, they have responded immediately and solved my issue without being judgemental due to my lack of expertise. The server does very well and has a good ping.
