Event Planning/Management/Network Support + senior technical analyst

Pingperfect is looking for an enthusiastic person based in the UK to assist planning our lan (100 persons initially) this would involve from start to finish things such as working with contractors to supply power, internet, security for the event, enlist sponsors, ensure adequate facilities such as camping space and food on site and locating a suitable venue. On the side you would also need to supplement our follow the sun support team. The support role involves technical customer support revolving around game servers, maintaining windows servers, finding new games and manning live chat. Job Description

Hours: Flexible - 8 hours per day Mon - Fri (UK daytime position)
You must have a strong background in pc gaming, event planning & management and network management with QoS as well as very good knowledge in game servers, you will be working in a high pace environment to help us maintain our excellent customer support reputation, help our customers, develop new features for customers to use and generally be the escalation point for 1st line technical analysts. This role is a work from home role but there will be traveling required. This is a part time role Monday to Friday during the day

  • Knowledge of how a lan should be put together
  • Ability to balance 2 different roles
  • Excellent knowledge of game servers running on windows servers
  • Experience managing Windows Servers
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Customer Support queries to be answered in a speedy manner (we aim for no longer than 20 minutes wait time per ticket)
  • Excellent work ethic/attitude
  • Works well alone and/or as part of a team
  • Can Multitask effectively

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Logical approach to problems

  • Desirable but not required
  • Arma 3 modding experience
  • Experience with WHMCS
  • Experience with TCAdmin 2
