It's easy to configure your Pingperfect Empyrion Server. Just follow the steps below.

  1. Open the 'Configuration Files' section from your control panel.
  2. Select the 'Text Editor' option next to 'pingperfect.yaml'
  3. Refer to the Example Configuration below and change the respective settings where you need to do so in order to configure your server to your desires.

Servername    empyrion Server    //Server name, exactly as it will be displayed in the in-game server browser

Password to join server?    //No or Yes, if Yes, set below

Server Password    123    //Set server password here

Reserve Playfields    1.00    //Idle playfield servers held in reserve. For busy public servers, we recommend at least 2 (default = 1) Please note that reserve Playfields will increase your memory usage, setting it too high will result in you needing to purchase additional memory

Server Description    Welcome to another Pingperfect.com gameserver    //Server description as it will be displayed in-game on the server browser

Visible in serverlist?    //Tick to enable, un-tick to disable, if ticked, the server will be visible in the server list

Playfield stop time     24    //All playfield servers will be automatically stopped every real time hours. Players will get some warning messages before this happens

Telnet Enabled    //Tick to enable, un-tick to disable, if ticked, Telnet is enabled on the server

Telnet Password    Pingperfect123!    //Set Telnet password here

EAC Active    //Tick to enable, un-tick to disable

Max allowed size class    4    //Restrict allowed blueprint size class 1 = allow only small blueprints, ... , 10 = allow very large blueprints, ..., 50 = allow gigantic blueprints, ... , 0 = no limits ### Warning: large blueprints can have very strong performance impact!

Restrict blueprint types    //All types allowed, Only stock blueprints can be produced OR Blueprint system disabled, this setting Restricts blueprint types allowed for production

Client Heartbeat    60    //Timeout in seconds after which a client will be disconnected if it does no longer send heartbeat messages to the dedi (0 = feature disabled)

Maximum Ping Limit    300    //Ping Limit at which players get kicked

Game Name    Pingperfect    //Game/World name

Game Mode    //Survival OR Creative

Seed Value    2309115    //Seed value the world is generated from

Scenario    Default Multiplayer    //What Scenario to play (Default is "Default Multiplayer")

Grounded structure spawn    //Enable or disable whether blueprints must be placed on a base or capital vessel when being spawned. Default: True

Origin Access Others    //False will not allow any alliances with or join to factions from other Origins

Origin Auto Alliance    //Factions are per default allied if they are in the same Origin

Friendly Fire in PvP    //False will not damage any allied structure even in PvP. Still does hurt players

Max Allowed Size Class    4    //Max allowed blueprint class size - Class 1: <50, Class 2: 51-250, Class 3: 251-500, Class 4: 501-1000, Class 5: 1001-1500, Class 6: 1501-2000, Class 7: 2001-2500, Class 8: 2501-3000, Class 9: 3001-3500, Class 10: >3500, The SIZE CLASS is calculated from these three values 1. Device Count, 2. Light Count, 3. Triangle Count (all visible in your blueprint library info)
