1. Open up Battalion 1944 and wait until you are at the main menu
2. Press the console key ("`" or "¬" or "~" - Normally the key below "Esc"), this can be changed in the game options.
3. Enter the following: "connect IP:PORT", replacing IP:PORT with your IP and port, and mypassword with your own server password.
4. E.g. "Connect 95.154.229.130:39601"
5. If your server has a password, enter it like this: "connect 95.154.229.130:39601 password pingperfect"
