Help migrating old station/world elements

Post by HeroShot » Sun Nov 15, 2015 3:46 pm

Hello All,

It's been a long time since I've played on my Space Engineers server, and as we know, a lot has changed. I was looking to migrate some of my objects (namely, a large station) to an updated, procedural world (with planets, if possible) so that we can play it again.

I have downloaded SEToolbox and had used it to some degree in the past. The problem I have now is that I cannot figure out which asteroid is associated with my station; and, if I try to copy and paste any asteroid form my old world to the new one I created, it crashes the program.

I know I'm asking more about a program than PingPerfect or servers, but thought since you all seem so knowledgeable, you've dealt with this kind of thing before. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Its possible that your cannot do this as the new update changed a lot of things. Can you copy a ship over and see if that works?
You will get a better response pasting your question in the keen forums though.
