This guide will cover the process of uploading a world from your PC to your Minecraft server hosted with us.

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Zip/Compress your world on your PC, make sure it's .zip not .rar or .7zip
  3. Use FTP to upload your world to the server's main directory.
If you don't know how to use FTP please see this guide: https://pingperfect.com/index.php/knowledgebase/19/Accessing-your-files--File-manager--FTP.html
Unsure where your world is? This page will show you: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360035131551-Where-are-Minecraft-files-stored-
  4. Click "Configuration Files" in the gamepanel then select either Configuration Editor or Text-Editor next to server.properties
  5. Find the line/option level-name and change its value to the exact file name of your world.
  6. Press Save.
  7. If the world you're uploading was made on a modded version of Minecraft, you will need to make sure the server is running the same mods as your PC was when the world was created. This will avoid modded content being removed from the world/the world not working correctly.

If you experience any problems when trying to upload your world, please feel free to contact us via a support ticket and we'll happily assist you with the process.
