It's easy to configure your Pingperfect Dark And Light Server. Just follow the steps below.
- Open the 'Configuration Files' section from your control panel.
- Select the 'Configuration Editor' option next to 'GameUserSettings.ini'
- Refer to the Configuration settings below and change the respective settings where you need to do so in order to configure your server to your desires.
Server Settings:
Server Name dark Server //Server name, exactly as it will be shown in the server browser
Admin password - USE CAPS ONLY! //Administrator Password, leave blank for none
Server Password - USE CAPS ONLY! //Password to get into the server, Leave blank for no password, if using a password make sure to use CAPS only
Global Voice Chat Ticked = global voice chat on //Ticked enables global voice chat
Notify player left Notify player left //Lets you know a player has left the server
Hardcore mode Ticked = hardcore mode //Turns hardcore mode on or off
Rcon Enabled Ticked = enabled //Enables / disables Rcon
PVE Ticked = PVE //Enables PVE / PVP
No HUD Ticked = No HUD //Forces all HUDS to be removed
Auto save period 30.000000 //Having this too low may cause latency issues!
Game Settings:
Show map location Ticked = shows player location //Places an X on the map for player location
Disable PVE structure Decay Ticked = decay is off //Turns Structure decay on / off
Allow flyer carry Ticked = carry enabled //Allows flyers to carry players and dinos
Dino Decay 1 //Higher = faster dino decay
Kick idle players 2400.000000 //length in seconds before idle player is kicked from the server
Max tamed dinos 500 //Higher amounts may lead to lag issues
XP multiplier 1 //Higher number = quicker level gains
Tame speed multiplier 1 //Higher value = faster taming
Harvest amount multiplier 1.5 //Higher = larger harvest amounts
Force object locking Ticked = auto locking on //Forces all player structures to be locked
Disable PVE gamma Ticked = gamma off //Turns off the ability to change gamma
Enable PVP Gamma Ticked = Enabled //Enables gamma on PVP server
Day cycle speed 2 //Higher = faster days
Night speed cycle 2 //Higher value = faster nights
Chat settings:
Show tribe name Ticked = tribe name shown //Shows tribe names of all players on chat
Show steam name Ticked = Steam name shown //Shows steam names in chat
