In this guide, we will be covering a couple of different methods to increase server performance/optimise your Minecraft server.

Method 1: Using an optimised command line

We have set up a pre-defined command line which utilises Java Command line Arguments to optimise the server and make its performance the best it can possibly be - to set that up on your server, please complete the following steps:

Method 2: Upgrading to an Extreme specification host server (host server is the underlying server your Minecraft game server runs off of)

By upgrading from a Standard specification host server to an Extreme specification host server, your server will have increased performance due to the higher clock speed of the Extreme specification host server's CPU (4.5GHz vs 3.5GHz of a standard)

1. Contact us via a support ticket, and we can price the upgrade to an Extreme specification host server, generate the relevant upgrade invoice, and once that's paid you let us know, and we'll move your server to an Extreme specification host server.

Method 3:  Upgrading to more CPU %

By upgrading to a higher CPU % your server is allowed to use more of the host server's CPU resources, which will provide greater performance.
