Rust | Disable EAC

Important Note:

  • RUST often likes to change things so while this works currently it can be subject to change. The best source for the latest info is the RUST user communities online.
  • Keep in mind that running a server with EAC disabled means it will not show up in the in-game list. Your players will have to join via Steam connect.

To disable EAC (as of March, 2020) Stop your server and then go into the Configuration Files Manager in Game panel and edit your main server config ( server\Pingperfect\cfg\server.cfg )

Set or add the following (if not present)

server.secure            "0"

server.encryption        "0"

server.eac               "0"

Save and start your server, it should be join-able now without EAC
