Terraria | How to set your server message

  1. Navigate to your control panel. 
  2. Select "Configuration Files"
  3. Press "Text Editor" next to pingconfig.txt
  4. Find the line:  motd=Welcome to another Pingperfect.com Server
  5. After the "=" symbol, type in your server message.
  6. For example, motd=This is John's Terraria Mobile Server - No mods , Expert difficulty.
  7. Restart your server.
  8. Now, when player's join your server, your updated server message (in the case of the example) This is John's Terraria Mobile Server - No mods , Expert difficulty will be displayed.
