By default if you do not specify any character names or IP Addresses in admin.txt, everyone who joins will have access to admin commands. This can be dangerous as admins can ban players, mess with buildings, bankrupt shops etc.
You can make yourself the only admin on the server, or add further admins, by running the command /add_admin <Username>
If you want to manually specify chosen admins in the config, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your control panel.
- Select configuration files.
- Open admins.txt with Text Editor.
- Type in your EXACT Starmade character name.
- Press save.
