To enable whitelisting on starmade just follow these steps
1. In your game panel go to configuration files > server.cfg and change the following values
USE_STARMADE_AUTHENTICATION = false
REQUIRE_STARMADE_AUTHENTICATION = false
USE_WHITELIST = false
to
USE_STARMADE_AUTHENTICATION = true
REQUIRE_STARMADE_AUTHENTICATION = true
USE_WHITELIST = true
2. save the file
3. Then enter the configuration file names "whitelist.txt"
4. In here enter the following to whitelist a player (replacing NAME with the players in game name)
act:-1:NAME
5. save the file
6. reboot the server for it to take effect.
