It's quite straightforward to add plugins/mods to your Valheim server. The process is as follows:

    Server Setup

    1. Stop your server.

    2. Click "Mod Manager".

    3. Install "BepInEx Plugin Loader for V Rising"

    4. Download the plugins/mods you want to use to your PC, then unzip the mods.

    5. Use FTP to transfer the unzipped mod folders and files to the VRising_Server\BepInEx\plugins folder.

If you're unsure how to use FTP please see our guide here: https://pingperfect.com/index.php/knowledgebase/19/Accessing-your-files--File-manager--FTP.html

    6. Startup your server

    Client (Your PC) Setup

    1. Download "BepInEx Plugin Loader for V Rising" from https://gcdn.thunderstore.io/live/repository/packages/BepInEx-BepInExPack_V_Rising-1.668.5.zip

    2. Extract the archive into a folder. Do not extract into the game folder.

    3. Move the contents of the BepInExPack_V_Rising folder into <Steam Location>\steamapps\common\VRising.

    4. Copy the unzipped plugin/mod files you downloaded earlier to:
      <Steam Location>\steamapps\common\VRising\BepInEx\Plugins

All done! You should now be able to play on your server with plugins/mods.

PLEASE NOTE: Some plugins/mods are designed for server use, some are not, it should state in the plugin/mod description whether the mod supports server use or not.
If you install mods not designed for server use to the server, it is highly unlikely they will work.
