How to add mods

Post by Ragonz » Sat Feb 27, 2016 7:57 pm

1. Log into your game panel (Gamepanel.pingperfect.com)
2. Navigate to configuration files within the game panel and go to edit the server config, find workshopitems= and add the to that line, seperate them with semi colons no spaces (eg. workshopitems=11111111111;222222222222)
3. Save the config
4. Reboot your server and it will download the mods to your service
5. In file manager navigate to steamapps\workshop\content\108600
6. Within this folder will be all the mods you have downloaded, for each mod you need to do the following, go into the mod id folder then go to mods within here is the folder you need to rename to its full mod name (If you are not sure what the proper name is look for id=ModName within the mod.info file in the ModName folder.)
7. Once they are all renamed connect using FTP (viewtopic.php?f=67&t=568) and move all the named mod folders to the "Mods" folder in the root directory (if you dont have this folder create it)
8. Navigate back to configuration files within the game panel and go to edit the server config, find mods= and add the mods to that line, seperate them with semi colons no spaces (eg. mods=Litrature;Hydrocraft)

Old method if you already have the mods downloaded

1. Log into your game panel (Gamepanel.pingperfect.com)
2. navigate to your server > file manager > Zomboid > mods (Create mods if it does not already exist)
3. Upload the mods you want to this folder, the whole mod folders
4. Navigate to configuration files within the game panel and go to edit the server config, find mods= and add the mods to that line, seperate them with semi colons no spaces (eg. mods=Litrature;Hydrocraft)
5. Once done save the file and reboot the server
